- OPTION 2-

SOFT COPY PROOF (PDF FORMAT)

A PDF Printers Proof only takes from 1 to 2 days to arrive to your email address via a downloadable link.

This can save you much time if turn around is tight as you do not have to wait for the mail or return via a post office (at your expense).

Once PDF has been approved we only require an email stating you have approved to commence printing of your book.

EXTRA NOTES

  1. The purpose of the Printer Proof is to check all content has transferred correctly from the print ready PDF files you give us, onto to our machines at the factory.
  2. Please do not treat the Printer Proof as another round of revision opportunity, as any ‘Author Changes’ do incur a fee to have set-up, re-rip and dispatch another copy. However, If a printer error has occurred we will re-issue another Proof free of charge.
  3. Any formatting rounds between us and you before it goes to print don't incur a fee - only once we send to the machines for proofing.
  4. Things to look out for in the Printers Proof are corrupt fonts that have changed, image quality and shifting of any layout.
  5. Colour accuracy is not 100% and will vary slightly depending on your monitor type and age. For Hard Copy Proofs, colour is more accurate however still not 100% as it is printed from a draft machine. The paper used is also not the final stock and is simply standard stock used for digital test runs and drafts.
  6. Once we have received your approval and any Hard Copy proofs are returned to the factory, we can commence the final printing and delivering of your book.
