FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I know that my book will be printed correctly?
We will produce either a digital or hard copy proof of your book for you to approve before going ahead with printing and binding of both digital and conventional offset publications.
How long will it take to print my book?
If there are no problems with the files submitted to us you will have your proofs within 3-4 days. Once you have approved the proofs the publications will be finished within 3-4 weeks depending on the complexity of the job. If you have a strict deadline for your publication we can often accommodate this, but please consult us about this at quotation stage.
When can I expect my quotation back?
We have a fast turn-around for quotations; simple quotations will be with you the next working day from receipt of your final specifications by our sales team; more complex quotations may take 2-3 working days.
Can you mail out my publication to individuals on my mailing list?
Inscope Books has a mailing and warehousing service. If you deliver your mailing list in an Excel format (or compatible) we can print labels and package your publication ready for pickup by Australia Post using your Australia Post account. Please consult us for more details of this service.
SENDING US YOUR FILES
If your files are too large to be emailed (Generally anything over 10MB) you can send to us via the following preferred methods:
A single sheet within a book is called a Leaf. Each side of a Leaf is called a Page or Printed Page (pp) and is usually numbered as such above or below the body text. Example: If your book comprises of 128 pages this will be 64 stand alone leafs in total between the front and back cover.

We can print books of all shapes and custom sizes however, when considering the most economical option, it's best to stay within the following recognised Australian standard book formats:

It is the responsibility of the author to ensure all content has been proof read and edited correctly before coming to us. Inscope Books do not proof read any copy we are given. We require the copy to be 100% complete.
